Meet Our Providers/Staff

Sam McWilliams, MD cFAAP

Dr. Sam, a former patient of Dr. Becky's at the South Royalton Health Center, grew up in South Strafford Vermont and attended the Newton School. Dr. Sam went to medical school at Albany Medical College, concentrating on rural medicine at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, NY. After medical school he returned to the Upper Valley and completed a Pediatric Residency at the CHAD before joining Dr. Becky and Dr. Ashley in 2015. Dr. Sam also spends time in the school based clinics of HealthHub. He is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a candidate for fellowship in the academy, as well as a member of the Gold Humanism Society.

Ashley Miller, MD, FAAP

Dr. Ashley was born and raised in southern New Hampshire, left briefly for college, returned to the Upper Valley for medical school at Dartmouth and never left. She was lucky to spend time with Dr. Becky during training and was very excited to join her practice in 2014. Dr. Ashley can be found both in the office at SRHC and in the school based clinics. She has a special interest in adolescent medicine and mental health, but truly enjoys following families from birth to graduation. She is a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics, actively involved at the state and national level. When not seeing patients you can find Dr. Ashley competing at local horse trials (triathlons on horse back), hiking or snowshoeing in the surrounding mountains and swimming in the local rivers with her dogs.

Rebecca Foulk, MD, FAAP

Dr. Becky has been providing pediatric care in South Royalton for at least 3 generations of families. She has slowly been decreasing her clinical time and is happy to welcome Dr. Sam and Dr. Ashley into the practice so she can one day consider retiring. She is an active volunteer in the community, particularly with High Horses. When not in the office she can be found caring for her horses, gardening, and playing tennis.

Kim Therrien, LICSW

Kim is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) who has 25 years of experience working with children and families. Kim grew up in the Upper Valley and still lives here with her family. Kim utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches in her clinical work including, Psychodynamic Therapy, Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, The Helping the Non-Compliant Child Curriculum, and Attachment Theory. Kim sees patients at SRHC and at the local schools.

Frank Lamson, CPNP

Frank was a fixture in our local schools and we were sorry to see him retire at the end of the 2015-2016 school year, but wish him all the best out hiking the AT, Long Trail, and wherever else his boots might take him!

Anita Onofrio,  CNH,  MSN, CNM

Anita joins our office a few days a month to provide gynecological services and women's health care.

Sabra Durkee, RN, Office Manager

Answering your questions over the phone, rooming patients, giving shots, obtaining labs, managing referrals, Sabra does it all!

Jennifer Barker, RN, Care Coordinator

Jennifer grew up in New England, graduated from Mary Hitchcock Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, receiving her BSN from Vermont College of Norwich University. Jennifer worked at CHaD on the general pediatric and adolescent unit, Pediatric ICU, Neonatal ICU and the Birthing Pavilion.  Jennifer was overseas in Singapore for quite some time, continuing her nursing career in a local hospital’s Intensive Care Nursery,  working with the US Military as a civilian contractor with the New Parent Support Program doing home visitation, and development assessments, working as a school nurse at an international school, and most recently at the US Embassy.  Once the decision was made to return to the Upper Valley in 2014, her passion for working with families and children had her reconnect with Dr. Foulk.  Jennifer looks forward to the change of seasons and the joy of playing in the outdoors with cross country skis, hiking boots and maybe a kayak or small sail craft in the months ahead.

Nancy Clark , RN, IBCLC

Officially retired after many years in practice, Nancy, who use to do our home visits and Ages and Stages appointments, happily turned over the reins to Jennifer Barker in 2015. However Nancy still wants to be involved, in between her trips to Zimbabwe she will still be providing lactation support to our patients. Currently accepting BCBS and private pay, trying for more, please call the office to make an appointment with her, she can see you in the office or at your home.
